Slo - Mo

Image
Slo - Mo This week we worked on three different techniques,  light painting, blurred motion, panning.  We employed many different techniques to take this pictures, for panning we had to track a moving object to insure that it would be in focus and the background would be blurred. Light paint had to be in a dark place, and someone would use the light on their phone to create shapes. Blurred motion involved having objects that were moving or moving the camera to create blur.   Panning   Blurred Motion Light

Fall Project Portfolio

Fall Project Portfolio  This is my 5th and final draft of this project and what I am using for my portfolio. I had one major problem when creating this draft, I wasn't sure if I should go with black and white or if I should go with color pictures. I ended up choosing color as I felt that the color pictures had more depth and that the colors in each picture were too good to exclude.

Fall Project Draft 4

Fall Project Draft 4 This is our final draft of this project before we create our portfolios next week. Similarly to last week, my post is made up of 1/2 color and 1/2 black and white. I really like a lot of the color and brightness in the non-black and white ones, however I think that the black and white ones create a more cohesive and abstract batch.

Fall Project Draft 3

Fall Project Draft 3 This is our third week working on our fall projects. This week my batch is made up of half black and white and half color images. I like the extra abstractness that the black and white offers and I think it creates a more cohesive and complete image, however I also think that the first color one is one of my favorites from this project. I think moving forward I will try to have half color and half black and white pictures in my posts.
