Personal Project - 3-30-20

Image
This past week we started new projects from home. I decided to do a project where I use the windows in my house to frame a picture. This week my batch was all in black and white and significantly darker with a greater focus on using the window as a frame for the background.

Personal Project (Batch 2)

This week we started new projects from home. I decided to do a project where I use the windows in my house to frame a picture. This batch has a few more variations, with some there is a clear background and with others it's harder to tell, I also experimented with black and white v.s color.

Windows

Windows This week we started new projects from home. I decided to do a project where I use the windows in my house to frame a picture, so that the focus is on the background but there is still something happening in the foreground to make a greater sense of depth. The black and white helps draw out the texture and darken the foreground, so that it doesn't draw the attention away from the background.  3-23-20 3-25-20

Winter Portfolio

Image
Winter Portfolio  This a collection of my favorite photos from my Winter Project. My winter project was to try to emulate Joel Tjinjelaar and his work. I did this by taking pictures looking up buildings with a focus on texture and lighting and then editing them in black and white.

Winter 5

Winter 5 This is a collection of photos taken over the past 10 days. Over these ten days we continued working on our winter projects, mine is taking pictures like Joel Tjinjelaar. There was better lighting this week than the week before and I was able to put an emphasis on the lighting and the texture of each building.

Winter 4 This week we continued working on our winter projects, mine is taking pictures like Joel Tjinjelaar. This week I was looking to shoot different building than previous pictures, but from different angles to create a different vibe than the previous batch. This week I have mix of darker and brighter images as well as having a mix of different angles and perspectives.
