Winter Portfolio Draft

Image
Winter Portfolio Draft For my winter project i attempted to replicate the work of filmmaker and photographer Wim Wenders. This style involved finding buildings and places that were slightly aged and had some color, however there were a few exceptions. Editing this pictures was the main part of this project, for the most part it was pretty simple, but at first it took some experimenting to figure out what worked and what didn't. I found that if I increased the warmth of the photos, it added a aged sort of look that made the colors look really nice.

Winter 4

Winter 4 This week we were continuing our winter projects. I focused on finding some new buildings and places that I could use for my project. I found that sunny days make for the best pictures as there is a good amount of brightness and the colors are vivid which makes the pictures look better. I have pretty much been editing my pictures the same since the start of this project, with only a few minor changes and exceptions. So for the most part this project is all about finding the images and finding places that meet the criteria. I have found a couple really ood places by Drew where the buildings have aged, but there is still a lot of color around them.
